Payment Information — For Premium subscriptions, payments are processed securely through Google Play. We do not store your payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide accurate prayer times based on your location
To send Azan and Iqamah notifications
To track your Salah, Dhikr, and Tahajjud streaks
To store your private Tahajjud reflections securely
To send app updates and launch notifications (only if you signed up)
To process Premium subscription payments
To improve the app experience

3. Tahajjud Reflections — Private Data

Your Tahajjud reflections are completely private. They are:

Encrypted and stored securely
Never shared with anyone — including us
Only accessible by you on your device
Never used for advertising or analytics

4. Location Data

We use your location only to calculate prayer times. We do not:

Track your movements
Share your location with third parties
Store your location history

You can disable location access in your device settings. Prayer times can also be set manually.

5. Push Notifications

We send notifications for:

Azan time reminders (5 minutes before)
Iqamah time alerts
Morning and Evening Adhkar reminders
Post-Salah Dhikr reminders
Tahajjud alarm

You can manage notification preferences in the app settings or your device settings at any time.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties except:

Google Play — for payment processing (Premium)
Firebase — for secure data storage and authentication
When required by law

7. Data Security

We take data security seriously. Your data is protected using industry-standard encryption. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

TaqwaSteps is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
