By using TaqwaSteps, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TaqwaSteps, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our app.

2. Description of Service

TaqwaSteps is an Islamic habit-tracking app that helps Muslims:

Track their 5 daily Salah prayers
Count and track Dhikr (remembrance of Allah)
Maintain Tahajjud (night prayer) habit
Receive prayer time notifications
Build consistent Islamic habits

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use TaqwaSteps
One person may not maintain multiple accounts

4. Premium Subscription

The Tahajjud feature requires a Premium subscription
Premium subscriptions are billed through Google Play
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before renewal date
Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy
We reserve the right to change Premium pricing with advance notice

5. App Blocking Feature

TaqwaSteps includes a social media blocking feature at prayer times. By using this feature:

You grant the app necessary permissions to manage app access
You understand this is a voluntary feature you can disable
Emergency override is available at all times
We are not liable for any missed notifications from blocked apps

6. Prayer Times Accuracy

Prayer times in TaqwaSteps are calculated based on your location and standard Islamic calculation methods. While we strive for accuracy:

Always verify prayer times with your local mosque
We are not responsible for incorrect prayer times due to location errors
Users can manually adjust prayer times in settings

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or modify the app
Create fake accounts or misuse the service
Share your account with others

8. Intellectual Property

All content in TaqwaSteps including the name, logo, design, and code is owned by TaqwaSteps. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the app without permission.

9. Disclaimer

TaqwaSteps is a tool to help you build Islamic habits. It is not a substitute for proper Islamic guidance. Always consult qualified scholars for religious matters.

10. Limitation of Liability

TaqwaSteps is provided "as is". We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the app, including missed prayers due to technical issues.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
